10 Questions to Ask Your Valentine

There’s definitely a spectrum when it comes to celebrating Valentine’s Day:

I feel like people are either extremely pro Valentine’s Day where they buy gifts for their partner, plan a nice dinner date and look forward to the flowers and chocolates. On the opposite side of the spectrum are the people who hate anything and everything to do with the holiday who say things like, “Valentine’s Day is just another way for companies to make money. No thanks.”

Honestly, it doesn’t even matter which side of the spectrum you’re on but what does matter is that you’re expressing your love for your fiancé a little bit each day… 365 days a year.

Look at Valentines day as another opportunity to make sure your relationship is a priority.

That you’re putting in effort, communicating your appreciation and connecting on a heart-to-heart level. Here are 10 questions that you and your Valentine can take turns asking one another:

  • What book has had the greatest impact on your life?

  • What was the moment when you laughed harder than you’ve ever laughed?

  • What are three qualities about me that you were first attracted to?

  • Would you rather have more money or more time and why?

  • What’s one thing you would like to do less of and why? How can you make that happen? Is there anything I can do to support you?

  • If you could talk to your teenage self, what would say?

  • What are the times you are most inspired, most motivated, most charged up?

  • On a scale from 1-10, what’s the highest level of pain you’ve ever been in? What happened?

  • Do you have a favorite adventure that we took together? What made it your favorite?

  • What was your favorite date that we ever had? What made it so special for you?

Remember to listen to each other, be present and have fun together!
